The Voice-Over Edit Software Upgrade Key for PDW-HR1 Field Recorder from Sony allows you to record and edit voice-overs in the field. You can use the voice over with video first edit feature to edit audio and video sub clips via an edit list before adding the voiceover as an additional track. An external audio input signal or narration from a microphone can also be recorded while previewing the EDL.
Voice-over audio first edit allows you to record the audio (voice over data) prior to editing audio and video sub clips, and then add them to the voice over layer, while audio level adjustments can be made to the audio data and audio level in steps of 1dB for every clip. Using the audio split edit, the software enables you to advance or delay the audio by trimming the audio start point in correlation to the video start point. The audio can be edited in units of 1 frame within the trim range of +/- 2 seconds. In addition, you can shift the voice IN point of the sub clip in units of 1 frame as well as mix the audio data and the voice data outputs.
